Our History

In 1996 while serving as a minister at True Vine Ministries, Fayetteville, NC, the Lord impressed upon Minister Kenneth Anderson to step out on faith and start a ministry whose focus will be to minister life to a dying world. After consulting with his Pastor, Pastor Ernest W. Jones, Minister Anderson was encouraged to follow God and Abundant Life Ministries (ALM) was birthed.

After starting in Spring Lake, NC, Pastor Anderson was asked to join ALM with Pentecostal Temple in Raeford, NC. Pastors Kenneth & Tonya  spoke with the congregation and a merger of the two ministries occurred with the official name to be Abundant Life Ministries. The first service for the new Abundant Life Ministries was Sunday, August 2, 1998. The Lord is continuing to expand the borders of this ministry reaching into all areas of life and nationalities. In 2007, the Board of Directors voted to rename the ministry to Abundant Life Ministries Family Worship Center. It is still the chief goal of this ministry to: Minister Life to a Dying World; Teach Adoption to an Abandoned World; and Preach Restoration to a Lost & Recovering World.

We have ministries in place to meet the needs of men, women, and youth. We are so excited to bring God's Word to the people of Raeford, Fayetteville, and the surrounding areas. Come and join us! We want to see you living the Abundant Life!
